Evening everyone, I hope you are all well? I haven't had much time to craft lately but managed to make this card at the weekend so thought I'd share with you how I made it. As you already know I have issues using my Graphic 45 stash and can only manage to make one project at a time with it because it is too nice to cut into, so I'm challenging myself to use it...I can't keep stroking it forever!
I have used the botanical tea collection which is just beautiful.
To begin I cut a piece of paper to fit the front of a DL card front. I distressed the edges with scissors and inked with memento brown ink then fixed it to the card front.
I then cut 2 rectangular panels from a contrasting sheet of paper and again distressed and inked the edges. As this paper is double sided I fixed them to the card front as shown showing either side of the paper.
I then cut a postcard panel from one of the sheets and glued this to the centre of the card with a lace motif behind.
To finish I added a triple twine bow, a selection of paper flowers, stamens and a lace butterfly motif. As usual I haven't added a sentiment as I like to add these when I know why the card is to be given.
I hope you like the card it was really quick and easy to make.
