Hello everyone. I've eventually found some time to craft this weekend after a busy couple of weeks. Today I have eventually been able to announce that I have been accepted as a design team member for Canvas Corp Brand...I'm both delighted and amazed! I've seen the work the crew members produce and it's amazing, I'm looking forward to learning from everyone. I have been shopping and found a frosted holly leaf garland which has inspired me to get creative...however this is becoming a serious problem when out and about...everything I see can be used for crafting!
Today I'm sharing with you how I made this Scandinavian inspired card.
I took a DL card bland and covered with some patterned paper that had been distressed around the edges. Next I embossed a piece of kraft card using Scandinavian embossing folder and distressed this around the edges also.
I die cut a circle from the same patterned paper used on card base and glued to embossed kraft card on top of a scrap of hessian. I then wrapped bakers twine around around the kraft card and glued to card front.
Next I die cut the Scandinavian stag from kraft card and coloured this gilding polish. This was glued to the circle of patterned paper. Using hot glue I then attached frosted holly leaves, red beads from a christmas bead string and moss as shown.
For finishing touches I added a wooden button and stamped a sentiment.
