How to create lacy shabby chic card

Hello again everyone! Today I'm sharing a tutorial of how to create this lovely shabby chic card.

As usual I have not attached a sentiment but this card could be used for several different occasions.

What you will need:
Patterned paper
Crafters companion  create a card die
Swirl dies
gilding polish
Lace
Twine
ribbon
paper flowers
pearl string
metal embellishment
corrugated card tag
glue
hot glue

scissors

Method

Cut a piece of patterned paper the size of card blank and distress the edges with scissors. Make a tear in the bottom edge and glue a small piece of lace behind as shown. Fix a length of matching lace to the left of the card and wrap twine around as shown. Glue this panel to the card base.

Next apply a scrap of patterned paper to the top right of the card.

Die cut a create a card panel in centura pearl and gently apply gilding polish over the top. Once dry buff with dry kitchen towel, this will give an aged look to the card. Glue to card from as shown. Nip the lengths of twine together to give a gathered appearance and fix die cut swirls over the top, I used hot glue for this.

Next decorate the tag with ribbon and twine bows. Add paper flower and metal embellishment. Glue some rafia and pearl string onto of the swirls and then fix tag on top using hot glue.

Attach paper flowers to the inner right edge of frame and card is complete!

I hope you like it. Thanks for popping by.
