So here's another shabby chic card I made at the weekend. The base of the card is covered with paper from Sara's signature shabby chic range from crafters Companion. I distressed the edges using a pair of scissors and applied gilding wax. I have also applied some gold gilding flakes (very sparingly! they don't really show on this photo). I have applied a strip of crean lace across the card and then die cut some flourishes from craft card and glued these to the left of the card. I have applied a corrugated tag and a MDF frame(do crafts) to the front. I have then glued rafia , ribbon, paper flowers and die cut butterflies(using hot glue). I added some pearl embellishments.
