These papers take inks really well and are perfect for mixed media projects. I bought my collection from Hochandaat a really great price. They have some great collections of Graphic 45

First of all using a tonic basic tag die I cut myself 2 tags, one from craft card the other from spotty paper from theBotanical tea set.

I then stencilled the tag using a combination of rustic glimmer glam paint and texture paste. I used a heat gun to speed up the drying time...I'm too impatient to wait!

Next I sprayed with pink coral and tattered leather Tattered Angels glimmer mist.

I cut some of the elements from one of the sheets and and coated the edges with glimmer glam paint to give an aged look.

I Highlighted parts of the butterfly with glamour dust and fixed the element along with a chipboard tag to the tag front, adding some flowers, die cut leaves and fibres.

To complete the design I flicked some of the rustic glimmer glam paint over the completed tag.

The Tattered angels products used can be found via the following links and they currently have 25% off orders!

Hello Friend-Graphic 45 card

Morning everyone, I hope you have all had a weekend full of crafting?
I haven't posted for a while as my laptop has been playing up and I was starting to panic. Thanks to You Tube I've managed to solve the problem...phew!

Today I'm sharing with you a card I have made using Graphic 45 Botanical Tea collection. This is the most beautiful collection of vintage floral designs in pastels, they are stunning. I have promised myself that instead of collecting these sets I am actually going to be brave and cut them up and not just admire them.

To begin I cut a piece of paper to cover a DL card blank. I distressed the edges and inked them with brown ink. I created some tears in the paper and folded them back, then glued them in place.

I then cut a contrasting piece of paper smaller in size and using the same techniques as before fixed this onto the base.

I then cut a postcard from one of the paper sheets, wrapped twine around and fixed to card as shown with foam pads to add dimension.

I then added a selection of paper flowers and glittered berries as shown along with a chipboard tag.

To finish I added some blue pearls and splattered with some Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam paint.

I hope you like it?

Vintage Gypsy moment cards

Good morning everyone.

Today I'm sharing with you 2 cards that I have made using the Gypsy Moment papers from 7gypsies. These papers are absolutely stunning and the images vary so much they will fit with any occasion.

I have made 2 cards however the papers are perfect for scrapbooking or any other paper project you may have. These papers are the perfect match for my style of crafting, vintage/shabby chic.  The images are beautiful and the sentiments are thought provoking, perfect if you want to make inspirational pieces.

I have not done a step by step for this as I usually would as there is nothing complicated here and I think its pretty self explanatory how I have put the cards together.

I hope you like these cards. I have included a link to the papers here (this is not an affiliate link).

Life's beautiful moments

Morning everyone and happy Easter!

Today I am sharing with you a card I made using the Sweet Peony collection from Heartfelt Creations. This is my first time using Heartfelt products and I have to say they are beautiful!
The paper pad is the most amazing quality, each sheet is double sided and there are also lots of tags and sentiments included.
I bought the whole collection from Hochanda when it was the One Day special and was very good value for money. The collection comes with matching dies and stamps and I also treat myself to foam paper which allows you to make the most amazing 3D flowers and embellishments.

Other than items from the collection I used some crochet lace, silk flower which I sprayed with tattered angels glimmer mist spray, bayleaf and beads.
this is what I did:

To begin I cut a piece of background paper to fit a 7x7 card blank. I distressed the edges with scissors and inked the edges with brown ink.
I glued a length of lace across the card, then attached a paper ribbon from the paper pad along the edge of the lace.

I then cut a premade panel from the paper pack which matched the background paper and attached as shown with foam tape.

Next I stamped and die cut the medium peony and leaves using brown ink onto foam paper. I then sprayed then with tattered angels glimmer mist spray and heated with a heat gun until they curled.

I then finished the card as shown having also sprayed a silk flower with the black cherry and gold glimmer mist spray.
